La Escapada Located on the caribbean side of Panama within 40 miles of the Costa Rican border, La Escapada provides a quiet and natural setting for your escape. La Escapada provides a quiet, natural settings for visitors who want to relax and enjoy nature.  Toucans, tanagers, parrots and hundreds of other varieties of birds are all spotted daily on the property.  We have chocolate trees, bananas, nutmeg, and many other fruit trees planted. The coral reefs right off our dock provides a wonderful snorkeling adventure.  Many different kinds of marine life are spotted routinely by patient, relaxing clients.
